「さえみどり」Saemidori matcha powder 30g

Saemidori 「さえみどり」/sa.e.mi.do.ri/ is a Japanese green tea cultivar. The name derives from 冴え緑, meaning “clear” or “vivid green.” It is known for its exceptionally bright color, rich umami depth, and natural sweetness.

It was developed in 1969 in Kagoshima Prefecture, as a cross between Yabukita and Asatsuyu.

Our Saemidori matcha is crafted from a single cultivar grown in its place of origin—Kagoshima. The region’s strong sunlight enhances richness, while gentle river mist helps soften astringency, allowing the tea’s full character to shine.
